Project “Shelby F1000″

Although this truck is a side project, we have big plans for this 1961 Ford F100. At this point the truck is very solid and all original but that is soon to change. We want this truck to be a good “driver” that we can take on long trips but also be fast enough to shut down anyone silly enough to play on the street. The plan is to add a tube chassis with a 9″ and 3.73’s, , a Shelby GT500 5.4 engine with cams and a Whipple (running on pump gas with Methanol should get us over 1000bhp on pump gas), a 6spd, and utilizing the stock GT500 ecu and harness all the while keeping the truck exterior and interior 95% stock looking except of course for the 24″x15″ rims tucked up in the rear!
