During the sponsorship of the “Pinks All Out” event, I took 2 race tickets and held a raffle. Since the event sold out 500 race entrees in 15 minutes through Summit Raceway Park and there were over 300 more on a waiting list I figured this was the pefect way to raise money to help the children at Rainbow Babies. Our raffle was simple…fill out a registration form for a chance to win a race entree ticket.
The result was a check donated to help the children in the amount of $600. Although this was not the amount we wanted to provide, we did raise awareness and had many people stop by our booth the day of the event and donate directly to the representative. All it takes is one trip to visit these children and you will quickly realize how lucky you really are!
